I am very excited to announce the launch of the Fuji Xerox ColorQube 8900. What is unique about this new printer is that it is the first A4 multifunction desktop device to use Fuji Xerox Solid Ink, a truly innovative technology which can help businesses cut print-related waste by up to 90 per cent.
Printers using Solid Ink technology deliver incredible colour, produce less waste, are economical to run and are easy to use. All sound too good to be true? Here’s a bit more detail:
- Solid Ink comes in the form of small crayon-like pods that melt when you’re ready to print. This means that Solid Ink printers, including the new ColorQube 8900, are completely cartridge free. Without the excessive packaging of toner cartridges, Solid Ink printers are considered the world’s most environmentally friendly printing solution because they produce up to 90 per cent less print-related waste than comparable colour devices. Solid Ink is also certified by the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers to contain 30 per cent bio-derived renewable material content.
- Users of the ColorQube 8900 and Solid Ink technology will find it incredibly easy to use. Refilling the Solid Ink sticks is simple as they are uniquely shaped to fit the correct slot for simple drop-in loading – Solid Ink can be topped up at any time, even when the device is running. Also, Fuji Xerox Solid Ink is safe to handle and won’t leave messy stains when loading into the device.
- Businesses will be impressed with the output of the ColorQube 8900. It’s an ideal solution for companies looking to achieve vibrant, eye-catching colour documents and can produce brilliant, saturated colour even on inexpensive or recycled paper.
- The ColorQube 8900 offers an incredibly low total cost of ownership, which I’m sure will be music to the ears of business customers looking to reduce costs. The price plans offered through Fuji Xerox’s partner Managed Print Program, PagePack, mean users can pay based on the amount of colour on the page.
The ColorQube 8900 really is jam packed with features, printing 44 pages per minute in both colour and black and white, plus duplex comes as standard. The ‘Intelligent Ready’ technology learns a workgroup’s usage patterns and can prepare to print in advance of peak usage periods – this aims to reduce user wait times and increase productivity. With an increasingly mobile workforce, the Xerox Global Print Driver and Mobile Express Driver enable users to print from laptops, smartphones and even tablets without having to download individual print drivers.
For extra support and quick troubleshooting, the ColorQube 8900’s seven inch touch screen has screen embedded help videos – so it’s impossible to go wrong.
Anyone who has tried out Fuji Xerox Solid Ink technology has been impressed and we have already received a great response to the ColorQube 8900. If you’d like to find our more you can visit www.fujixeroxprinters.com.au
